How use a splitter

How not to use a splitter
Don't use it as an input

The goal of the game is to progress through the different items in the game. Make a goal for yourself and what you want to achieve

There are several ore veins across the map. You can place down drills on those nodes in order to extract the ore from them (whether it be coal, iron, or copper). You can then take those ores and smelt them with a smelter, which needs 1 coal and 1 metallic ore (either copper or iron) to create an ingot. You can then take your newly created ingots and deposit them into a depot which will increment your ingot count on the top right corner.

Conveyors

Conveyors will move an item to a target location based on which direction it is facing

Launchers

Launchers work the same as conveyors, but will jump over a tile

Anything That Outputs Something

If a particular tile outputs an item, then it will only output to a conveyor or launcher if they are not pointing towards said particular tile.

This mechanic is interesting because you could have a conveyor adjecent to the smelter pointed 90 degrees in respect to the smelter and it would still output to it, compacting your designs

Do be careful though! If you run a conveyor by a drill, even it if it is not facing outwards from it, it will output to that conveyor!

If you have a tile that has multiple places where it could output to, it will randomly pick between the outputs that are available to it

Splitters

Splitters are basically just an output tile that's only purpose is transfer. It inherits the properties listed above.

It is possible for a driller to output to a splitter if the splitter is adjacent to the driller
